This is the online chat applet. If you know how to use IRC, connect to irc.wyldryde.org and join the #northernvoice channel.

Start by setting your nickname: in the lower right hand corner, you should see a field underneath the label "Change nick to". Type a nickname (or your realname...just no spaces allowed) in there and start chatting. Type a message into the text field and hit return to send it to the other chat participants. Get their attention by typing their name before the message -- for example "dbarefoot: I still think you're the blogfather".
