Kids Room

Last year we set aside a room for kids and caregivers to use during NorthernVoice; it was generally said to be useful so we're doing it again this year. Note we can't provide child-minding or babysitting services - we just provide the room and leave it to you to entertain your kids (and maybe someone else's). We suggest you bring appropriate toys/books/other entertainment.

I've set up a wiki page at KidsRoom for the purposes of self-organizing ahead of time, should anybody wish to do so, or for introductions of people likely to show up there.

Just like for last year, kids are free as long as you're not bringing more than about three (i.e., we don't have room for complete school classes). If your family happens to be bigger than that, just contact us to make sure we have room.

Speaker Submission Date Extended to Dec 1

The Keynote Crowd at Northern Voice

Due to the unexpected large quantities of snow in Vancouver (let's see, we've had record rainfalls for November and now record snowfalls, anyone want to bet which records we're going to break next?), we've decided to extend the deadline for speaker submissions for NorthernVoice 2007 to this Friday, December 1. No extensions after that though!

Fill our the Northern Voice speaker submission form here.

Deadlines for MooseCamp will, of course, be a lot later than that, since it's an unconference rather than a conference.
